In Monster Hunter Wilds, tracking down Ayejack is your key to scoring Alma’s awesome new glasses. If you didn’t know, Alma’s shiny red specs—crafted from glistening jewels by the stonefolk—got snatched up by a mischievous Wudwud while she was kicking it in the Scarlet Forest. Your mission? Retrieve those specs by following a few simple steps and engaging with some quirky Wudwuds.
Quest Steps: The Apple of Her Eye
- Start by chatting with Alma at camp. She’s your starting point for the quest.
- Next, make your way to the Wudwud Hideout in the Scarlet Forest and speak to Thunk at the entrance.
- Thunk will direct you to a yellow quest marker nearby where you can talk to Scampshroom.
- Look for the Wudwud wearing Alma’s specs near an Amber deposit downriver—he’ll make a run for it when he spots you!
- Head back to the Wudwud Hideout and report back to Thunk. He’ll instruct you to return at nighttime during the season of Plenty, so if you need to, change the time in your tent.
- Finally, the Wudwuds around their bonfire will reveal that Ayejack, the clever glasses thief, is snoozing downstairs.
Locating Sleeping Ayejack
You’ll find Ayejack hanging out in the central room of the Wudwud Hideout. Spotting him might take a second since he’s cozied up in a leafy bundle. Look for his little head peeking out while he rocks Alma’s shiny glasses.
When you wake him, he’ll ask for eastern honey in exchange for the specs. If you’re low on honey, you can trade for it or capture Giant Vigorwasps to snag some.
Once you secure the glasses, you’ll wrap up the quest and earn Alma’s stylish glasses that let you step up your customization game. Plus, you unlock even more glasses you can craft with Gemma!
