Hey Guardians! Ready to unlock some sick upgrades for your Barrow-Dyad SMG in Destiny 2? To do that, you’ll need to collect the Sunless Cell Fragments in the newly released Sunless Cell strike. It’s not just about shooting things; it’s about scavenging for those fragments, completing the Dyadic Perfection quest, and boosting your gear!
First, make sure you’ve progressed through the seasonal story to act three; that’s where the fun begins. Once you’re on track, grab the Dyadic Perfection quest from the Shaping Slab. This will guide you to find six Taken Osseous Fragments. And don’t forget—equip the Barrow-Dyad during this strike! You’ll get a new catalyst quest after completing it.
Where to Find the Sunless Cell Fragments
1. Fragment Location #1
- Head into The Founts and stick to the right towards the bars at the end of the corridor.
- Look for the glowing Taken Osseous Fragment on the ground.
2. Fragment Location #2
- From the first fragment, continue down the corridor.
- Turn right and look up for vaulted hive structures. Climb to the top of the second level to collect the fragment.
3. Fragment Location #3
- Drop down into the lower section of The Founts.
- To the right, go past the sealed doorway and turn left to find the fragment near the wall behind some collapsed hive crates.
4. Fragment Location #4
- Reach the Asylum area and head down the left staircase. Look for a broken sloping strut on your left.
- Descend the strut to find the fragment glowing at the bottom.
5. Fragment Location #5
- Climb back up the left staircase and go further. Use your ghost to reveal platforms below.
- Jump onto the lowest platform and look for a smaller platform beneath the bridge to collect the fragment.
6. Fragment Location #6
- After battling some floating eyes and the subjugator, you’ll come to a bridge with hive totems. Jump left to the platform at the start.
- Grab the last fragment!
Complete the Sunless Cell strike, and you’ve done it! Now you have all the fragments you need for that stellar SMG upgrade. Happy hunting, and may your loot be ever fabulous!
