How to Get Elevator Clearance in Borderlands 4’s Recruitment Drive Mission
For elevator clearance, when you’re facing the lift, just turn around. You’ll see some dead bodies lying around the balcony railing. Walk up to any of these bodies and grab the glowing device attached to the back of their neck.
Once you’ve done that, you can finally call the lift to bring Claptrap up. He’ll unlock the (broken) door to the Abandoned Post safehouse, allowing you to interact with a data pad that serves as a fast-travel point. Not only that, but you’ll also score a shield, some XP, and a bit of cash and eridium from this mission.
The Abandoned Post is just one of several safehouses scattered across Kairos. These places are super useful as you explore more of the map and want to revisit areas to farm bosses. Plus, unlocking safehouses earns you SDU points. These points are essential for upgrading your inventory size, increasing your ammo capacity, and more!
