How to Score the Convergence in Borderlands 4

So, where do you find this beast? You can farm for the Convergence from the Bramblesong boss, located in the Bittervein mine at the north end of the Stoneblood Forest, Terminus Range. To get there, head northwest from the Deathright silo, and make your way through the Substation Canonary for easy access.

But hold on—before you can even think about diving into this mine, you’ll need to beat the Shadow of the Mountain mission. This is crucial because you won’t gain access to any of the abandoned Auger mine activities until that’s completed. If you somehow find yourself at Bittervein before you finish the mission, you’ll be stopped by an energy barrier!

Once you’re in the mine, get ready for a fight with Bramblesong. While it has dual health bars that make it seem easy to defeat (I took it down in just a couple of seconds with my Neutron Capture Harlowe build), don’t underestimate it. Bramblesong can deal some serious damage, especially with its sludge pools on the ground. Keep your health up and watch your surroundings while you battle!

The Convergence isn’t just a pretty face; it’s equipped with the unique Asymptotic trait, which slices through enemies on contact, dealing massive damage while applying status effects. This shotgun can drop with various elemental properties, including corrosive, incendiary, cryo, and radiation. Each one provides a different advantage depending on your playstyle!

Pro tip: Look out for a version with a Jakobs accessory. This feature allows critical hits to ricochet off and hit nearby enemies, letting you dominate every encounter. Also, try mixing in CoV and Ripper parts; surprisingly, they work well with the Convergence because of its huge magazine size and steady firing rate. With the right parts, you’re going to ramp up your damage in no time!
