Crossing the threshold, you’ll meet Haskiil, the right-hand man of Sheogorath, the Daedric Prince of Madness. You have the option to refuse his offer and head back to Cyrodiil or dive deeper into the Shivering Isles.

You can technically start this DLC whenever, but it’s smart to wait until you’re around level 20. While the remaster has improved level scaling, the loot you discover is tailored for higher-level players. If you’re patient and hold off until level 20, you’ll snag the best gear. Jumping in too early might leave you with weapons and armor that won’t keep up when you return to the main game.
