Assassin’s Creed Mirage originally launched in late 2023 and is set in ninth-century Baghdad. Players take on the role of Basim Ibn Ishaq, a young thief who becomes part of the Hidden Ones and trains to become a skilled assassin. The game received glowing reviews and even introduced two free updates post-launch, including a New Game Plus mode and a permadeath feature.

The teaser trailer for the “Valley of Memory” DLC shows Basim alongside Dervis navigating ancient ruins in an open desert environment, although specific details about the DLC are still unknown.
