Throughout the year, Pokémon GO keeps things exciting with events like these. Before we get hopping into spiders, they’re currently wrapping up their Halloween festivities which ends on November 2.
What’s Happening in Enchanted Hollow?
The Enchanted Hollow event begins at 10 AM on November 4 and ends at 8 PM local time on November 9. Here’s a quick rundown of what to expect:
- Wild Pokémon: Look out for shiny versions of Paras and Stantler, plus a rare chance to spot Tarountula.
- Mossy Lures: Use these to increase encounter rates for Paras, Stantler, Cottonee, Petilil, Karrablast, Shelmet, and Tarountula (but no shiny for Tarountula!).
- 2X XP: Spin the event-themed PokeStops for double XP and enjoy prolonged lure durations!
Raids are also a big part of this event. In One-Star Raids, you can capture shiny Paras, Stantler, and Tarountula. For Three-Star Raids, look for Leavanny, Scolipede, and Drampa—also with shiny chances!
Complete Field Research tasks to encounter even more Pokémon like Paras, Stantler, Cottonee, and others, all of which might be shiny! If you want to spend a couple of bucks, there’s a Paid Timed Research available for $1.99, giving you cool rewards like a Mossy Lure and encounters with Tarountula.
The game has also revamped its level cap, now reaching up to level 80. So, if you were under level 50 when that update dropped, you got a nice little boost! It means plenty of XP grinding ahead.
