In Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, the continent is teeming with Nevrons and challenging foes. But wait—there’s a sneakier enemy to confront: the mimes! These robotic mimics put up a tough defense that might leave you scratching your head.
Get Ready to Break Those Mimes!
To damage these sneaky mimics, you first need to break them using skills that deal break damage, like Gustave’s Overcharge. Once they’re broken, you can go ahead and deal damage to defeat them for sweet rewards.
Mime Locations and Rewards
Lumiere Mime
You’ll find the Lumiere mime during the prologue of your adventure. Upon reaching the harbor steps, check to your right, where some kids are performing. The mime is collapsed in its area, but remember: you can only get to this mime during the prologue, so don’t miss it!
Spring Meadows Mime
In the Spring Meadows, once you reached the Grand Meadow flag, take the left path (avoid the Nevron on the right!). Grapple up the cliffside, and you’ll meet the mime on a circular platform. Reward: Baguette outfit and haircut for Gustave.

Flying Waters Mime
After your first Bourgeon encounter in Flying Waters, backtrack from the Lumieran Streets flag, drop down and follow the right path through the seaweed. Climb up to find the mime waiting for you. Reward: Short haircut for Maelle.

Ancient Sanctuary Mime
Make your way into the Ancient Sanctuary, following the path from the Sanctuary Maze flag and crawling under rocks. Behind a wooden hut, you’ll spot the mime. Reward: Baguette outfit and haircut for Lune.

Esquie’s Nest Mime
In Esquie’s Nest, once you reach the exit’s flag, navigate down the central corridor to find the mime in the first open area off to the right. Reward: Baguette outfit and haircut for Sciel.

Yellow Harvest Mime
In Yellow Harvest, head to the cave southeast of the Harvester’s Hollow flag, where you’ll spot a mime. Reward: Braid haircut for Maelle.

Frozen Hearts Mime
Moving into the Frozen Hearts area, climb up the frozen train cars after reaching the Iced Heart expedition flag to find the mime sitting behind some boxes. Reward: Short haircut for Lune.

Double Mime Location
In the overworld, after exiting Old Lumiere, head northwest to a red island where two mimes are located. Reward: Voluminous haircut for Sciel and Lune.

Visages Mime
In the Visages area, where you encounter an Axon, explore the path left of the Plazza flag to find the mime lurking behind a tree. Reward: Mystery haircut (spoiler alert!).

Sirene Mime
In Sirene, near the Sewing Atelier flag, head into a dark room on your right after the stairs to find the mime. Reward: Sirene haircut for Lune.

Tainted Cliffs Mime
At the Tainted Cliffs flag, move along the path and descend into a hole to find the final mime. Reward: Voluminous haircut for Maelle.
